JWST primary mirror segments

This image shows three of the 18 hexagonal-shaped mirror segments that make up the JWST's primary mirror. A team of engineers and technicians prepare to load them into a test chamber in the X-ray & Cryogenic Facility at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama, USA.
