    MIRI Cryogenic Performance Testing

    The Mid-InfraRed Instrument (MIRI) verification model is fully assembled and ready for undergoing its cryogenic performance test at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in Oxfordshire.

    This image shows the fully assembled instrument installed on the test rig, ready to go into the cryo test chamber.
